My name is Miasha (pronounced “Me-sha”), and I’m a 27-year-old student dietitian. I’ve spent much of my adolescent and adult life struggling with body image, yo-yo diets, and a tendency to over-indulge. I’ve experienced many challenges that revolve around food: malnutrition, mental health struggles, skin issues, intolerances, binge eating… You name it. I understand.
While I don’t claim to know everything, I do understand the desire to have a normal, healthy relationship with food or to read science-based nutrition guidance without the gimmicks, complicated recipes, or expensive ingredients. This page is for you.
